Why is my Organic MCT Oil cloudy? Does that mean it is spoiled?

Hi there! That is a great question! 🤠

You may think there is something wrong, but don't worry, there isn't.

MCT oil is normally a clear liquid, but when it is exposed to cold temperatures, it can become cloudy. If this has happened to you, simply warm your bottle of MCT oil under some warm water to make it clear again.

Why does this happen?

Our Organic MCT Oil may fluctuate from clear to cloudy when exposed to cold temperatures.  Chances are that the product got a little chilly on its way to you.

This happens because the MCT fats "slow down" and try to solidify at colder temperatures, which makes it appear cloudy.

Is the product okay?

Cloudy MCT oil is totally safe to use and does not increase the risk of spoilage.

There is nothing wrong with the product and this can occur any number of times with no harm as this is just a natural property of the MCT oil.
