What does “95%+ organic ingredients” mean?
Creamy MCT Oil contains 95% or more organic ingredients. This includes the coconut-derived MCT oil and other organic ingredients used in the formula.
The current ingredient list includes:
- Purified water
- Organic MCT oil from non-GMO verified coconuts
- Organic gum Arabic (emulsifier)
- Organic caramel flavor
- Organic caramel color
- Sorbic acid to maximize freshness
- Sea salt
- Monk fruit extract
The exact flavor ingredients may vary between Caramel and Vanilla. Please refer to the product label for the most current ingredient information.
Why doesn't Creamy MCT Oil have a USDA Organic certification claim?
It's important to distinguish between organic ingredients and a USDA Organic-certified finished product.
Under USDA organic labeling standards, a processed product generally must meet specific organic-content and certification requirements to be marketed under the USDA “Organic” labeling category. Products containing at least 95% organic ingredients may qualify for the “Organic” category when the applicable USDA requirements are met.
While Creamy MCT Oil is made with 95%+ organic ingredients, we do not currently market the finished Creamy MCT Oil product as USDA Organic certified.
