What Is Emulsification and Why Does It Matter?

If you've ever poured regular MCT oil into coffee, you may have noticed that the oil floats on top. That's because oil and water are naturally separated.

Creamy MCT Oil is different. It's emulsified, which means the MCT oil is dispersed into tiny droplets and combined with water-based ingredients to create a smooth, creamy mixture.

Why Is Creamy MCT Oil Emulsified?

Emulsification makes Creamy MCT Oil easy to mix into beverages without the oil separating and floating on top.

You can simply shake, pour, and stir it into your favorite:

No blender is required!

How Is Creamy MCT Oil Emulsified?

We start with MCT oil made from organic, non-GMO coconuts. We then use gum arabic, a plant-based soluble fiber, as an emulsifier.

Gum arabic helps the oil and water-based ingredients stay evenly combined, giving Creamy MCT Oil its smooth, creamy consistency.

What is the Benefit of Emulsification?

The biggest benefit is convenience.

Unlike traditional MCT oil, which can separate from water-based beverages, Creamy MCT Oil is formulated to mix easily with both hot and cold drinks using just a spoon.

This makes it a convenient way to add MCTs to your daily routine without needing a blender or having an oily layer floating on top of your drink.

Does Emulsification Change the MCT Oil?

No. Emulsification doesn't change the type of MCT oil used in the product. Creamy MCT Oil still provides C8 and C10 MCTs from coconut-derived MCT oil.

The difference is in how the MCT oil is formulated so that it can be combined with water-based ingredients and mixed more easily into beverages.

Why Might Creamy MCT Oil Separate?

Although Creamy MCT Oil is emulsified, some separation can naturally occur over time.

If you notice separation, simply shake the bottle well before using it. Proper storage can also help maintain the quality and consistency of the emulsion.
