No. Natural Force Organic Grass-fed Whey is not an undenatured or “native” whey protein.

Our whey is made from organic milk and undergoes pasteurization, filtration, and drying as part of the manufacturing process. These processing steps can change the natural structure of some whey proteins.

What does “denatured” mean?

Protein denaturation means that the protein's three-dimensional structure has changed. It does not mean that the protein has been destroyed or that it no longer contains its amino acids.

Denaturation is a normal part of food processing and digestion. Protein is also naturally exposed to stomach acid and digestive enzymes after you consume it.

How is Organic Grass-fed Whey processed?

Our Organic Grass-fed Whey is a whey protein concentrate that is minimally processed while maintaining its nutritional quality.

The product is pasteurized and then processed into a powdered whey protein. It contains 20 grams of protein per serving and is made with four ingredients or fewer, depending on the flavor.

We do not market Organic Grass-fed Whey as an undenatured or native whey product.

Is denatured whey still a good source of protein?

Yes. Denaturation does not remove the amino acids that make whey a source of protein. Organic Grass-fed Whey provides 20 grams of protein per serving and can be used as part of a balanced diet to help increase daily protein intake.
