Our Clean Coffee Founder's Select Dark Roast contains approximately 178 mg of caffeine per 1 tablespoon (15 grams) of ground coffee.
The amount of caffeine in your finished cup can vary depending on how much coffee you use and your brewing method.
How Does This Compare to Regular Clean Coffee?
Our regular Clean Coffee contains approximately 175 mg of caffeine per 1 tablespoon (15 grams) of ground coffee, while the Dark Roast contains approximately 178 mg.
So, the caffeine content of our Dark Roast and regular Clean Coffee is very similar.
Does Dark Roast Have Less Caffeine?
Not necessarily. Roast level has less impact on caffeine content than factors such as the amount of coffee used and how you measure it. For a more consistent comparison, we recommend measuring your coffee by weight.
Please note: Caffeine is naturally occurring in coffee. If you are sensitive to caffeine, consider adjusting the amount of coffee you use or choosing our Clean Decaf instead.
