That's an easy one!
Look on the bottom of the bag for a "best by" sticker. 👀 Simply subtract 10 months from the expiration date, and you have your roast date!
The Great Roast Date Debate
The roast date issue is something that the specialty coffee industry debates heavily, and there are no stated standards for the industry.
The problem with putting a roast date on the bag is general public perception of a roast date without taking into account the nitrogen flushing. We believe an expiration date is less confusing for our customers than a roast date (and you can still calculate roast date if you want by following the instructions above).
