Our collagen is made from 100% grass-fed, USDA Organic bovine hides sourced from cattle raised on pasture. Our sourcing standards are designed to support conditions where cattle can graze and express natural behaviors.
Are the cows treated with antibiotics or growth-promoting hormones?
No. Natural Force guarantees that the cattle used for our Organic Grass-fed Collagen are not treated with antibiotics or growth-promoting hormones.
Where do the hides come from?
Collagen peptides are commonly made from bovine hides, which are a natural source of collagen. Using these hides also helps make use of a part of the animal that would otherwise be discarded as a byproduct of the meat industry.
Our collagen sourcing comes from cattle raised in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, where the animals are raised on rural properties and graze freely on natural grasslands.
Is Organic Grass-fed Collagen American Humane Certified?
Our Organic Grass-fed Collagen is not the same as our Organic Grass-fed Whey in terms of animal-welfare certification. The American Humane Certified™ certification associated with Natural Force applies to our Organic Grass-fed Whey and its covered production locations.
For this reason, we do not use the American Humane Certified claim for Organic Grass-fed Collagen.
