What source materials are used to make Organic Grass-fed Collagen and is it a sustainable product?

We use 100% grass-fed and USDA Organic cowhides to make our Organic Grass-fed Collagen. The cows graze on Amazon rainforest-safe pasture that does not contribute to rainforest deforestation.

The hides are a by-product of 100% grass-fed and USDA Organic beef production, so we ensure that every part of the animal is utilized by creating a high-quality nutritional product.

Regarding sustainability, a recent study commissioned by White Oak Pastures showed that properly raised beef (i.e. grass-fed) contributes less carbon to the atmosphere than crops like soybeans or plant-based meat substitutes.
