What is the difference between Organic Whey and grass-fed only whey?

Great question as there is a HUGE difference! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿฎ

As a USDA Organic certified whey protein, our farmers are required to provide our cows access to the outdoors, shade, clean, dry bedding, shelter, space for exercise, fresh air, clean drinking water, and direct sunlight. They must also provide free access to certified organic, non-GMO pasture for the entire grazing season (which for our California cows is 300+ days per year), implement plans to avoid manure runoff (which can pollute drinking water), and use sustainable practices such as crop rotation and cover crops which improve soil fertility and protect soil and water quality.

Grass-fed only whey protein manufacturers are not required to do ANY of the above!

Additionally, our Organic Whey protein is also American Humane Farms certified which requires even more stringent animal welfare measures than USDA Organic alone. Our Organic Whey Protein is also one of the only Project Non-GMO Verified whey protein products on the market.

All of this adds up to a significant difference between our Organic Whey and those that simply claim "grass-fed".
